ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi,

Im currently working wiht Fantsay sales team and i found it very interesting and fun!

I have a request that I need to track activites such as appointments, phone calls and tasks. And i have set up a game for 6 weeks and set targets and created 3 different sales metrics as phonecalls, appointments and tasks. I then downloaded the report and imported it into visual studio to see if i could add a field for regarding of each activity. Is that possible to do to have that in the report? So i can see how many appointments, phonecalls and tasks a user have done and also se what company they have contacted.

Thanks for your help.

    Hi Tony,

I'm happy to hear you are enjoying working with FST!  You are able to download reports from the Players - Players Stats page.  You can download activity for player or by period.  But if you are needing additional tracking reports then you will need to pull activity from CRM.   Hope I answered your question and please reach out if you need further assistance.

    Thank you,

    Tina

    Hi Tina,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, i saw that i could download and track reports. But what i want is when i pull up the report i want to see what company each activity was regarding. So for example one salesperson have 10 appointments under a week, i pull up the report and there i want to see a field called "regarding" to see what company.

So my goal is that i want to set up goals for activities under a 6 weeks period (that i have done and it works). I want then to after one week or 2 to pull up that report and see how many appointments, phonecalls and tasks the salespersons have done and what company they have contacted.

I hope this not sound to messy or hard to understand? My questions is really if its possible to add a field so you company name?

    Thank you,

    Tony

And one more thing. Can I set individual targets to each player or do they all have the same goals?

So when i download the report, i should be able to see what company they have contacted also or it only counts?

    Hi Tony,

In regards to your first question, the report will only track metrics per player or per period. No, it is not possible to add field for company.

Secondly, yes you can set up different targets for each player.  You can achieve this by setting up player roles. (Players > Add/edit roles).  You can have different roles for each player if needed.  Or you can assign roles to a group of players, e.g. outside sales to a few reps and inside sales to a few reps.  Then when you setup game 1 metric will be assigned to outside reps and another metric to inside reps.  Or you can have a Junior Sales Rep earning less points than a Senior Sales rep.  Therefore you will have 2 roles and 2 metrics.

    Thanks,

    Tina

As you can see in the picture i have set up 3 metrics on phone calls , appointmente and tasks. Now im only having 3 salespersons in CRM for test, but i do want that all the metrics counts on all the salespersons so i dont need any roles. So i assume the targets are the same for all.

And for the company name, i took the sales metric report - detail and the field "entity" is good enough. There I can click on the entityname and i will be forwarded to the activity. So that will do.

One last question. Is it possible to for users when they log into CRM to see their own activities in the report and not the others? Or will they only log into to FST site and see their?

Its much to learn but i think im getting a much more clearer image of how all this works :) So thank you for your help!

    Tony,

Yes, the targets are the same for all.  You had asked how to setup individual targets and this would be achieved by having 2 phone call metrics and each one has different targets input and then assigned to corresponding role.  I would like to suggest using actuals instead of targets for your first game.  It is a easier method to comprehend.  Each player will earn the exact number of points rather than having to pass a tier or gate in order to earn points.  But of course, you are welcome to use targets if you prefer.

In regards to your second question, when a player logs in he/she will be able to view all activity completed by another player.   They will have access to view players stats page as well as leaderboard. This visibility will increase healthy competition amongst the players.
