Unable to Void a check with status 'TEST PRINT'

Hi,

I am unable to void a check, that is in TEST PRINT status in the check ledger entries.
GL line entry is with Zero balance and the journal is in approved status

I want to release this check , since the entry is not posted.
I am unable to void the check because the status is NOT POSTED.

Is there a way out for me to print this check and then void it!!

Thanks
Vijaya

    Hi, good day
I hope this can help you, and give you some hints.

To cancel printed checks that aren't posted

You need to void the check from the payment journal. In the payment journal there's an action to void checks. You can only void it from the check ledger entries once the payment journal is posted, and it doesn't seem like it is in your case.

Can you please check bank payment type value in General Journal ?  You may need to add the field " Payment Type " on the General journal page.

Though i have doubt system will  allow to post the entry , if allow the post  the entry and they void that .

Also, You may use the Configuration package and export the data of General journal and make it correct and then void it.

    It may be works.
