"BOOK" button privilege

Hi,

I would like to know which is the privilege that I need to assign to a Security Role in order to see the "BOOK" button on the ribbon of entities that are enabled to be associated to bookable resources. I can see the button if I am System Administrator.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

    RE: "BOOK" button privilege

The BOOK button privilege is a feature that allows people to read books in the library, but not take them out of the library. This feature is designed to prevent people from taking books out of the library and reading them somewhere else. It's a good thing, because it prevents people from making copies of books and selling them. Now I am willing to visit https://lettersaboutliterature.org/ website in order to find the best plagiarism detector so as to make my writing work unique.

I did try this. However, I did not see any Enable Rules for this button in the Ribbon Workbench. Any idea?

    Hi,

You can check what are enable rules on book button, there you can easily find which permission are required on which entity to show up this button.

You can use Ribbon workbench and open entity ribbon, and then you will able to see enable rules on that button.

    hope this will help..

After granting Org level read permission for Booking Setup Metadata, the issues seems to have been resolved. User can see the BOOK button and use the Schedule Board without any issues.

I am having the same issue. However, my situation is a little different. I can see the Book button in the root BU with Field Service - Dispatcher role. However, I do not see it when the user is moved to a child BU.

Also, if I grant Field Service - Administrator role, I can see the Book button in both root and child BU.

However, I cannot tell what is causing this to happen. Any help is appreciated.
