    Well...

it depends, but probably your full GP client is not running off the same location than the Web client does.. in which case the launch file from the Web client wasn't updated with your 'chunk' file..

Find out where your Web Client services are hosted and find out which launch file it is using (DYNAMICS.SET or similar).

The Web client launch file isn't necessary identical as the full 'fat' client, since some 3rd party products are not working with the Web Client.. Typically the WC launch file will be 'lighter' than the fat client.

Thanks for your reply sir, where to check for dynamics.set file ? i browse the folder location where service is deployed and didn't find such file. should this be defined in some configuration?

    Sorry,

I don't have a functional Web client right now..

The information came on top of my head from a past setup I had done for GP 2013, though the principles haven't changed much for the newer releases.

Hint: 1. determine from the URL of the web client where it's hosted

    2. Check the local Dynamics GP folder under Program Files (x86) on that server..

    3. Look for a file with extension .SET

To make things easy, your chunk file should be deployed EVERYWHERE where Dynamics GP is installed.
