Lead Qualification Process

Hi -

 i am working on a requirement where leads when qualified needs to open Contact form rather than opportunity form (as there is no business need for opportunity)

In 2011, we had an option just to create contact and no account or opportunity. In 2013, lead qualified automatically opens a opportunity page

Can any one suggest how can i achieve the above desired result

    You need get rid of the 'Qualify Lead' functionality/button and build a custom logic to create your own lead qualification process. As part of the custom code, you need to first create a contact and open the contact record.

    Karth- this seems to be logical if you are looking at changing the code. Is it possible to do it out of the box like it was there in 2011?

    Sadly that's not possible with the new version of CRM, Anil. I think some users have requested that feature to be brought back. You can vote for it on MS Connect.

    While there is no OOB option, here is a workaround that you could use ashwaniashwin.wordpress.com/.../modify-lead-qualification-process-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2013
