Is there a way to do this with the core GP Payroll Direct Deposit? Or is a 3rd party needed?

There is not a way to do this with core GP. However, there are several options to consider:
Not sure if it works with US Payroll - however - Encore Business Solutions has a solution that works perfectly - especially for the Canadian Payroll.
May work for US - have to check.
