BOM within a BOM

Hi, this is my first question and I'm quite new to Dynamics 365 Business Central:)

I was just trying to create a BOM for an item where some of the components in the BOM has their own BOM. And what I want to do is to create a production order that in turn generates and releases production orders for the components on the BOM (if there's not sufficient coverage in the inventory).

Does anyone know if this is possible or do I have to create those production orders manually or through a planning worksheet?

This is a concept that is covered. Check the Cronus data for the bicycle item. Planning worksheet is still needed so that it recognises the demand can only be satisfied if a production order is created for both BOMs
