Trial balance format changes

I am trying to change the display of my detail & summary trial balances in BC365. I am trying to have it include a column for our Account subcategory and remove the column that has the Tax amount. I can't seem to find in the system where I would go in order to change the display of this report. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi,
     
    These are two version of Trial Balance report in business central. One is the RDLC Layout and another is Excel Layout (released in BC24).
     
    If you are referring to RDLC Layout then -
    • Export Data to Excel from Send to Option.
    • Check Do you find the column that you are looking into excel sheet.
    • If yes then using Report layout page, create an new RDLC Layout for the report and make changes to layout as you need.
    • If no, then use report extension to add field into dataset and then create new layout with columns that you need and remove that you don't need.

    In addition, you can also simply use the chart of accounts page with the filter total filters as a quick chart of accounts. It won't have the debit/credit fields but it will have your net change and balance at date fields.
