Pulling Results from Opportunity Close Dialogs

Hi there,

Our business is running on Dynamics 365 2016 on-premise. When an opportunity is closed in our system, they are prompted with a Close Opportunity Dialog box that has several fields with Drop-Down choice selections. One of these fields automatically writes to the record as status reason, but the other two do not show anywhere on the record.

When I open the process sessions of the dialog, I can see the choice they selected for each question so I know the data is still saved in the system.

Is there a way for me to pull the results for these specific steps of the dialog process sessions so that I can get the metrics for how many times each drop down option was selected?

Thank you for your help,

Courtney

RE: Pulling Results from Opportunity Close Dialogs

    Hi CourtneyR11,

I'm using Dynamics 365 CRM online and not sure it is the same as Dynamics 365 2016.

In the Dynamics 365 CRM online, when an Opportunity is closed, it would automatically generate a record in the Opportunity Close entity. In that entity, there is a field to record the status of Opportunity:

You could metric selected times of  drop down option by this field. The Opportunity Close entity doesn't support create chart, you could use Web API to achieve your requirement.
