dexterity runtime error on Windws 7 at GP startup

I have installed GP as a client on a Windows 7 32bit machine and the install went very well.  When I startup GP I get the following error coming from Dexterity Runtime.

Unhandled Object Exception

Invalid String

    Hello, good day, as for this type of issues I am kind of a Russinovich-Musgravion apprentice, on environments disable DEP and if all else fails, use sysinternals tools to troubleshoot, like process monitor.

    I have DEP disabled and still get the error. Not sure what to look at in process monitor.

    Install Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components. You can google it to get the download.

    I have Office 2010 installed on that computer, do I still need the 2003 components.

    Yes. From what i can remember the Connect portion of the home page requires 2003 Web Component. Having just Office 2010 does not work.

    That fixed a script error I was getting, but the runtime error is happening right after I open the application, before you are asked for you password.

    Can you type what exactly the runtime error says....i might know what the problem is, but seeing it will confirm

    In this location...C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2010\AddIns....rename this file Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.Rtc.dll to Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.Rtc.old. See if that helps.

    Unfortunately that did not work. I still get the same error, click ok and GP opens up to the login prompt.
