
I created an item assembly via warehouse shipments. Pick is registered and item is assembled to order. Physically the assembly is done. Now on the Business Central, in the warehouse shipments tab, how do I process the assembled item to give it a lot number and assign it to a sales order ready to ship?
I tried using the Item Tracking option, but returned with the following error.
Any idea how to register the assembly and ship the item? Note it is an Assemble to order item.

This is strange error. A few questions
1) If you open Item Tracing and the trace the lot/sn what is the result? Do you see that item available?
2) is location of SO matches the location of Assembly Order and where lot/sn is available?
3) Do you use Item Reservation? if yes can you confirm that that lot/sn did not reserved for any other SO? Go to Reservation Table to find this
