Fields for additional info in Cash Book Journal

When posting a journal using cash book journal. Is there any other field(s) available in BC within cash book journal that I can record additional information like Donor ID for the transaction that I am posting. I used description field for more general info. I just need another field where I can report from. Can anyone help please?

In Dynamics 365 Business Central, the Cash Book Journal doesn't have a dedicated field specifically for recording additional information like Donor ID. However, you can use the Description field for general information, as you've been doing.

In addition to the Description field, you can use the Comment, External Document No., or perhaps even the Reason Code field.

Hi, To add another one, you can also use the standard Note function, which can enter multiple comments and record the time when they were entered. And it will also be saved after posting.
