I have a client who is using Wordpress and Woo Commerce on the front end and D365 on the backend. They want all ecomm activity to pass through the front end site to D365. Also, they want to control inventory, etc from D365 to the website. Is this possible? and if so, what is the best approach? Thank you in advance for your comments.

You can take advantage of dynamics 365 online store configurations and call retail server API into your woo-commerce code. You can create transactions, read data and all.
