Hi All
Our finance manager is trying to post a General Journal and it has some 17 lines.
after entering all the data when ever he tries to validate or post it give an error mentioned above in the subject
i check the accout and it is neither a total nor a reporting type
Any Help

Hello Muhammad Yousaf,
Please check the following.
1) Is this first time you are getting this error message?
2) Is there any chance that the main account type and related account category is updated after the journal line is created?
3) If answer to point 2 is 'Yes', then can you simply delete that line and re-create in the same journal and see if this helps you to solve this issue!
4) Have you checked for any hotfix available for this case?
