Hello,
You can use Rapidstart services.
On the original company go to "Departments/Administration/Application Setup/RapidStart Services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Configuration Packages", usually there is a 'Basic config' package that includes several tables for extracting information. This includes the setup tables and also the Chart of Accounts.
If there is not such package. Then you can create a new one, pointing to the Table 15 for the Chart of Accounts. If the new company is completely configured, then you just have to exporte this package, go to the new company, import and apply it.
But, if the new company has not set up the posting groups, payment terms, VAT posting groups, and all of that basic setup, then the previous step will have errors.
So, in this second scenario, you have to create the configuration package. Here is the one that we can find on some cronus db:
Here you can download the config package to be uploaded on the route that I pointed before. I uploaded the one from my Cronus, I hope it work for you to have an idea of how to build it.
Regards.
