Hey,

I have a problem with WmsOrderTrans table at Dynamics365FO. I am creating a transfer order from the inventory management transfer order tab, for example this transfer order from 01 site 30 warehouse to 01 site 40 warhouse. When I create and complete packing list, For our integration service I am preparing data to post API. So I need to know this transfer where the going. So I am checking wmsOrderTrans table but values are same on "fromInventDimId" and "toInventDimId" areas. Based on my previous experience on ax2009 both areas should be different value.

Am I missing something? Anyone could help me about that ?

Hi Ferhat,

Can you share screenshots for this scenario? Are the related inventory transactions created correctly by the application with different InventDimIDs?

Hi Ferhat,

I was now able to verify your scenario. The ToInventDimId is filled with the default issue location which can indeed be the same as the original InventDimId.

In my test (demo database), I wanted to transfer goods from warehouse 11 to 13. On both warehouses, the default issue (and receipt) location is 11. With this setup, I also had the same dimension.

the ToInventDimId will not store the transfer order destination in the WMSOrderTrans record as this represents an output order record which used to be part of a previous warehouse management feature that got deprecated in AX 2012.
