The user does not have a mailbox (or e-mail Active Directory attributes are missing).

We are getting the following error message with all users from within the rule deployment wizard for CRM 2011 RU7 with exchange 2010 sp1.

Error: The user does not have a mailbox (or e-mail Active Directory attributes are missing).

We are getting no errors in the router itself. We have the forwarding mailbox configured with a domain user that has Exchange Organization Administrator permissions and is a user with a base security role in CRM.

The incoming profile is setup with the logon credentials of this same user.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is this error revering to the "Administrator" account that the deployment rule wizard now uses not having a mailbox or is it in reference to the users I am trying to deploy the rules on not having a mailbox. Has anyone else setup this successfully without the administrator account having a mailbox?

This was corrected by giving the administrator account a mailbox.

Jeniffer, which administrator did you give a mailbox?

I'm using the forward email user to run the rule deployment wizard .

    thx

Yes, we are getting this same error for our users that have mailboxes in Exchange 2010 that we are currently migrating everyone to.  I have someone who is logging in as a domain admin and exchange admin and running the wizard.  They try to push the rule to people who have their email inboxes on Exchange 2010 and it errors with that above message.

What "administrator mailbox" are you referring to?  Could it be that the account that runs the email forwarder process has to have a mailbox on Exchange 2010?
