Hi

  I am using the Item Table. I want only those items from Item which have Gen Post Prod Group = 'XY'. Then i want to sum the Quantity and Amount of that item from Sales Invoice Line. I want to Group report Item Wise. What should be the Cal Code

    first check my answer from community.dynamics.com/.../241695

    also add a flowfield for the item."Gen Post Prod Group" in table "sales invoice line".

    then you can filter by the new field.

    then create a report with the needed dataitem and fields.

    in the report layout add a tablix.

    in the details line add the report fields.

    view group properties of the details line: group the details line by ItemNo, also sort by ItemNo.

    to sum up quantity and amount use sum([Amount]), sum({Quantity]) in the details line.

    You can put filter on the view of item table, second indent sales line and set the link of item to sales line item.

    Grouping should not be an problem as your main data item is item table.
