Sharing account and contact information offline

We are using CRM4.0 and the challenge I have is some accounts and contacts that are owned by my employee are not available to me in Outlook when its in offline mode.  I'm listed in the account to share it, but not the owner.  I don't want to take ownership, but do want to see the account when offline. 

 How do I set the account so this can happen?
