Production yield - an easier way?

Hi everyone,

I've been asked by my superiors to find out our production yield percentages for quite a few items (I have about 500 lines, some of which are duplicates but there's still about 150-200 unique lines). The problem is that our production yield % can differ quite a bit and they want it as accurate as possible.

I'm not too skilled when it comes to the production part of NAV (I'm in finance myself!) so what I have been doing is open the value entries of a production, find out the quanitity of the finished product and divide it by the quanity of the raw material used in that one production. The problem is that in order to get the most accurate yield percent, I would have to do this with every production made since January 2021 which will take more or less all of 2022 to get done!

So, all you amazingly skilled people - is there any report or such that I can use to get this information? Either the yield percentage directly, or at least the consumption and output information for a certain period where I can maybe use filters or such to only show me the raw material and finished good quantity (we have lots of lines in 1 production for all the packaging materials etc but those are not relevant for this exercise I need to run - I just need the finished good quantity and the raw material quantity)

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

For this task you probably need a developer to write a customized report on your behalf.

Hope the partner can assist you with this.

    Thank you.

    MichelleCA,

Base NAV will generate the information but Jet Reports could. You can pull the report data directly from NAV, real time, to create the yield or KPI information. I am attaching and example.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
