Hello, I've been using Retail Management System at my store for the last 8 weeks. I have been looking for a solution for the percentage calculating function of the program. When trying to edit the price of an item, inputting a profit margin or percentage to the cost of an item will calculate an inacurate price. For example:
Cost % Number I input Inaccurate price calculation produced by the program
$100 30% $142.86
$100 10% (automatic change to 9.999%) $111.11
$100 50% $200
$100 75% $400
$100 100% "A profit margin of a 100% is ony valid if the item cost is zero" display box pops up
$100 110% ($1,000.00)
$100 200% ($100.00)
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
