Get the Last value of Number Sequence that was used

Greetings,

I am looking for a method to find the last value that was generated and used by a particular number sequence.

So the problem that I encountered was that the system was skipping few number's while generating number sequence and thus it resulted in a non-continuous series,  so I need a fix for that, any suggestions are welcomes,

    If it skipped numbers then it is setup as non-continuous and last number won't help you. Non-continuous do not track gaps, so it could be 1, 2, 25 and next number here would be 26.

    What is your business requirement?

    If you want to see the real last value used, just look into the latest record in the table that is using the number sequence.

    If you need to have a non-skipping number sequence, you can set it up as continuous, but this is recommended to use only when absolutely necessary. It will make the number sequence work slower, since AOS can't cache the numbers, instead it has to do a round trip (or actually two) to database every time a number is needed.
