Need to allow to insert sales order to my customer

Hi all,

my customer asked me to allow to insert sales order or returned goods of its customers straight away to its NAV. In this way he saves the time of data entry moving it to the work of its customers.

Is there any chance to allow this ? Creating a web portal interface ? I think it's a normal issue which has been figured out by someone of you. Could you help me describe me how did you solve it?

I have the same question (0)

We have the same situation, one of our Client using Sales order List page with Agent profile in agent profile only allow NAV user name password  One sales Order list page show in Role Canter page (WebClient), with that user Customer login add own Sales Order and ask the client to approve.

Create a universal Excel format by defining all required columns in that and share this excel to each customer, later you can take this data and import after creating a Processing only report.

If you are a developer you can create XMLport and write a routine to insert these data direct into Sales Header and Sales Line tables.

    Hope it will help you.

    Cheers!

Well, I'll try to explain better: The company A sells almost always the same items to 5 customers. TThe owner would like to give his customers the opportunity to insert sales orders or to insert returned goods. What is the fastest, cheapest and safest solution?

Yes, you can either publish a webservice or create a Processing Only report to get insert data into Sales Order through XMLPort by using Excel or CSV format file.
