Print BOM subassemblies

HI! I  have BOM for a product which has multiple subassemblies( they have BOMs too). When I am trying to print picking list or Production order, I need manually link subassemblies to main item and print all subassemblies separately. What I need to do to simplify the process to print main product and it will print all subassemblies for me?  In simple words, if A is main but it includes B C and  D. What I need to do to when I am printing A , it gives me Boms of B C and D as well? Thanks.

Set the subassemblies on the lines to be phantoms, but then you would never get a works order for B, C and D, you would make them as part of A.

    Hi,

You did not mention what Ax version you are using so I will assume that this is Ax2012.  For the BOM of Item A, you need to define Items B, C, And D as pegged supply as their BOM line type. When you create a Production order for item A and estimate said production order, the system will automatically create production orders for B, C and D. You need not link these manually as the system does that for you automatically.       When scheduling item A, make sure the references check box is marked so the other production orders are also scheduled. Likewise, during release ( where you print the production orders), make sure the references check box is marked, so that all 4 production orders are printed.
