Hello,

I am trying to create contact from outlook and set parent for the same but i am getting error "An Unknown error occurred while synchronizing data to Outlook" while saving the record. Please see below screen shot

The parent is set to None. That means you did not initially set it to a valid record reference?

After setting parent also it gives same error.
