Hi All,

I have the same issue and I tried to solve the issue with this ticket :

https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/microsoft-dynamics-ax-forum/262521/inventory-value-report---zero-qty-with-inventory-amount

However, I still have the amount in the inventory value column after recalculation.

    Hi Zi Qing,

Can you share the underlying inventory transactions for this item to see what happened?

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hi Zi,

Its quite possible when you don't have quantity but value for the inventory.

Can you confirm which valuation method you are following and extract the detailed transactions level report (Inventory value report) for this product?

Having positive value without quantity indicates that we had positive  inventory at higher cost than what we issued.

    Example:

    Product purchased at 100 , 1 QTY

but when it is sold , it went out at -95 , 1 QTY

now net we have is Zero QTY with 5 as value.

So, now next investigation point can be , generate detailed transactions list for this product and see why issue price was less ?

Also, try running inventory recalculation if applicable.

    Hi Sir

Not sure whether the transactions highlighted in box contributed to the residual amount in inventory value

And yes I have performed recalculation multiple times, but the residual amount still remains there as show in the picture.

Thank you in advance for trying to help me solve it.

    Regards,

    Qing

The valuation method for both item number 41T-42041-0095 & 43T-42041-1467 are FIFO method.

    Hi Sir,

I have attached the file as requested.
