How can I change NAV server instance name without reinstalling?

Hi,
You can do it with SQL command but i would have created a new Instance from Console and linked it with Database linked to previous Instance...
To open this console: Search for Administration in APPS...
You can change "ServerInstance" in the CustomSettings.config in the service tier directory. This will change the connectionstrings for the client, but not the service name :)

Hello Friday,
You can use rabindra solution, and while creating new instance give different port numbers from existing instances.
So you can run simultaneously both instances.
For opening search nav administration and then select related link.
Let us know if you have any queries.

I support the other members - instead of renaming, better to create a new instance and link the database to it, using a different port number.
