Im working on a quote template and cant work out how to create a product price table that's "grouped by" cost type
Let me elaborate, he company im working for has two different types of costs, monthly rolling and one off costs and wish to have separate tables in the template for each type.
ive created a new field in the products entity called cost type and then for every product ive added whether they are one off or monthly and heres where im stuck.. i can pull through all of the products in a quote but i cant find a way to group them.
bar installing an addon is there a way i can do this in house?

If you're using the word template functionality there isn't a way to group them OOTB, as you're limited in what you can query, and I presume you don't want to have to modify the report once it has been generated?
As an alternative solution, you could use the free Workflow Elements solution (https://kaskela.wordpress.com/) and use this to generate a HTML email with the seperate tables
