Use HTML5 in HTML web resource

Posted on by 215

Hello everyone,

I wonder if anyone here could ever use HTML5 in HTML web resource ?

In my case (CRM 2015), I could not use HTML5 even with the simple element input number like

<input type="number" name="numerictextbox" min="1" max="50">

Thanks for your answers,

Anh

    Hi Luu,

    Kindly check with the browser compatibility.

    Regarding using HTML 5 in CRM 2015, it's perfectly supported, I just tried adding the same HTML 5 element in CRM-2013 web resource, and it worked well (only numbers are allowed) in the Chrome v.61  but surprisingly didn't work well (allows all the characters) in Microsoft Edge, IE-11 and in Firefox.

    In Chrome:

    Hi,

     could it be a browser problem? As for HTML5, just have a look at this post:
