Error with Fixed Assets Integration

Posted on by 4,595

I've created a fixed assets integration for GP 10.

We're getting an error when running the integration.

We've checked the eConnect account to verify it is assigned to the company and dynamics databases and is assigned to the DYNGRP role.

Has anybody run into this issue - and resolved it?

Re: Error with Fixed Assets Integration

    Hi,

I assume this issue is already resolved. A common cause of this will be if the eConnect service is not started:

    a.  Click Start , click Control Panel , click Administrative Tools , and then click Component Services .

    b.  Expand Component Services , expand Computers , expand My Computer , and then expand COM+ Applications .

    c.  Right-click eConnect 10 for Microsoft Dynamics gp, and then click Properties .

    d.  Click the Identity tab.  Make sure it has the right logon info.

Right click on this service and click start .

If the service cannot start- sometimes a reboot wasn't done after the install of eConnect and rebooting and then attempting to start may resolve.
