Hello,
My company is working on the transition to Microsoft Dynamics Marketing for our mass email needs. Currently, I am struggling to find guidance on what domain to use for sending.
Our company domain is MassBio.org. This domain has existed for over 10 years, and have not been used for mass email previously. Should we be using this domain for mass email (we currently use it for our website, as well as company email). Is there a benefit to using a subdomain just dedicated to email? Are there consequences to using our domain for mass email?
Overall, I am finding guidance online on this topic, but nothing definitive.
Any advice/guidance or things to read that might help illuminate this topic?
Thanks!
Hi Dilyana,
Thanks for the note. While the pages referenced in your message have been incredebly usefull for setting up an email domains and DKIM, I am more looking for guidance on what domain would be the best to use, not just how to set one up.
For example, would it be better from a deliverability perspective to use a dedicated subdomain for mass email, or just use your main domain?
Hi @James Robe,
I assume you have seen the Best practices for email marketing here
and the documentation on how to Authenticate your domains documentation here
Thanks,
-DD
