BYOD - Mapping error has occurred

Hi all,

I'm stuck in a loop that I can't get out of in any way. I've followed the instructions step by step, deleted everything and redone several times but I can't figure it out. Exporting some tables to my BYOD DB always fails for the same error:

Hi Mimmogp,

You can check the timeouts for the BYOD. The default timeouts for BYOD exports are set to ten minutes for truncation operations. You can update the timeout settings by navigating to Data management > Framework parameters > Bring your own database. These timeouts are company specific and must be set separately for each company.

Hi Mimmogp,

Does it apply to customs entities or specific export refresh type (e.g. Incremental push)?

Ref to the error message, there is a mapping error. Please open one of the affected entity from entity list and then click on "Drop entity"

Then click on "Modify target mapping" and click on "Generate mapping"

Then "Publish" the entity against BYOD AzureSQLDB and create a new data export project and export the entity in "FullPush" to AzureSQLDB.

Please let us know if you get the same error messgae.

Hi Alireza,

thanks for your answare, it's a custom entity.

I have done the procedure you suggest many times. The publication in Azure SQL DB is done correctly and the fields are all correct. The table is very simple, whit only 4 field.

In Debug i found that the error is raised by class dmf.EntityProxy.createAndExecutePackgeEntityDbexport

Something is missing or wrong in the custom entity, can you suggest me what?

Can you export data with this custom entity? (for example export to Excel)
