is there a way to set up dynamics nav to give you a message asking you when you close out nav if you want to close the application it seems very easy to just close the program without any alerts ?

Unfortunately, there is no trigger to use to stop the users closing the NAV application, you can stop users closing a page in NAV but not the application itself. You can add some message when they close it but it will not prevent users closing it.

Hey Write these code in "OnQueryClosePage" Trigger in Page that page you want.

IF CONFIRM('Are you sure want to exit?',FALSE) THEN

EXIT

ELSE BEGIN

ERROR('');

END;

Or where ever you want, write based on trigger it fired.

See you can customize Objects/functions, not you can add built in function. this can be done by NAV App developer.

We don't have any place to write the code for playing NAV Application.
