Real type field in grid is not allowing negative value

The real type field in a form is not allowing negative value . All the properties the set as required. Please suggest a solution.

    Did you check the form/field/properties/AllowNegative property have been set No?

    Hi Vidhi,

    As Judy mentioned you can set it at control level. But if there are many controls, best way will be creating new real EDT type and set the property "Allow negative" to true on the EDT itself.

    You can use the same EDT for multiple fields in future also.

    Hi Vidhi, If allow Negative property is set to Yes in EDT then provide more details.

    It was due to edt which has property of allow negative set to no . Thank you all for replying
