Opportunity sales process disappear once in a while - why?

Hello, for an unknow reason, sometimes the opportunity sales process bar disappears and I would like to understand why.
I know how to set it back so it shows, but lately it happens a lot more and I am the only one in my team who knows how to set it back.

Does anyone have this recurring issue and knows why it does that?

Thanks
Cat

Can you provide a bit more information?
    • Does the entire Business Process Flow bar disappear?
    • Is it gone on the record for every user who looks at it, or can some users see it still?
    • How do you "Set it back"?
    • Is this a custom Business Process Flow, or the one that comes installed with CRM Sales?

The Business Process flow bar on top of your sales record should always show if there is a process record that exists and is active. There are some ways to hide it through JavaScript, but that would be a custom configuration that could be dependent on some field or it could run all the time. It's a bit difficult to know without more information. I'll keep an eye out for a response to see if anything jumps out.

    Hello Tom,

Here are answer for more information :
Yes the entire business process flow bar disappears
It is gone on the record for all users
I set it back going into the 3 dots menu, Process, click on "Switch Process", put the check mark next to the Opportunity Sales Process and click on OK
The Business process flow seems to be the one by default from Microsoft. In Power Apps I see that the owner of that process is "System" and not by our supplier that made configurations. Here are some screenshots of what we have

    Thanks

Based on the information you provided, it sounds like somehow the Business Process Flow is being removed as the active process for the record. There is nothing I know of out of box that would do that, so I'm guessing there is a workflow/plugin or something that is causing the issue. Do you know if your configuration partner did any customizations around the flow? Maybe a plugin that deactivates the BPF or is supposed to switch it based on some criteria in the Opportunity record?

Even "aborting" the Business Process flow usually leaves the bar up top, just grayed out and unable to be interacted with. You may need to work with your implementation partner or Microsoft Support for this one.

In case it helps, the Business Process flows are actual records that exist in Dataverse. You can do an Advanced Find search for the table "Opportunity Sales Process" and see information about the BPF on one of your problem Opportunities to maybe diagnose the problem further.

Sorry I couldn't provide more information!

Thank you Tom for your response. I will need to check with our partner if there is any plug in or workflows that deactivates the BPF.
