It is technically possible to add your Logo to Dynamics 365 with modern themes enabled.

The reply from "AD-13091145-0" from 13 Sep 2024 at 13:49:46 contains a working solution. At least at the moment. (3rd of December 2024)
With the given link you can access the classic design settings and add a logo to the app header. It will replace the "Dynamics 365" default Logo on the top left.

As this method of replacing the logo seems to be highly unsupported it may stop working at any given point of time.
It also shows that there is no technical barrier why this has been disabled.

    • Use this information for testing purposes only OR to ask Microsoft to bring the feature back.
    • If you already struggle to fix/complete the given link this is not recommended.
    • Be aware that you may end up with a broken theme at any time as soon as Microsoft will change something regarding to the theme.
    • To use a setting which is no longer available for the end user is not recommended.
    • Do this at your own risk. It is unsupported and may cause problems.

    Hi,

Regarding the logo, the updated UI of Advanced Settings (Power Platform Environment Settings) no longer includes the 'Themes' section under Customizations. However, you can still access it directly via the following link: https://yourorgname.crm[yourlocation].dynamics.com/main.aspx?settingsonly=true#172628022 in order to add your company logo.

So before a non-technical person could change the header color, logo etc. but now you need to know and use XML to do that.  Oh wonderful, how backwards!

Never mind 2 - I've got it working now.

My issue was that I used the "Display Name" of the web-resource, rather than the actual web resource name (ie with the publisher prefix).

    Hi,
I can't get this to work either...

Could you elaborate on what you did to fix it?

I've tried using a copy of the xml file in the article, which didn't work. But I don't see any comments in it?

    Thanks,
    Alan

Nevermind - I had to take out the Comments in the XML File....
