Override the SalesOrder Number in AX 2012

Hello All,

Is there any configuration in AX 2012 R3 to override the Sales Order Number ?.

For example : From Front end One order is coming to integrate in AX and Front end OrderID is 10001 ,then i need to integrate that order in AX and AX Order ID should be sane as 10001 (Same front end Order ID Number ) .

Please tell me if any one know about this.

Hi Pavan.

You can change the number sequence for sales orders to "Manual". This would override the sales order number.

But you will need to go back to the number sequence and

1. Set it back to continuous if you are looking to use system generated numbers for sales orders.

2. Set the next number so that there are no Id conflicts while generating sales orders
