Hello

As far as I know, when setup the "item sampling", if "Per updated quantity" is selected, the system should create Quality order for each receipt of the item if Quality association is created for the item(we set up system to create Quality order after product receipt)

Could you please confirm or advise the usage of "Per updated quantity" functionality?

I have a scenario where quality orders are created for each receipt of most products, however on same cases quality orders are not created after second receipt( AX 2012 R2)

I will appreciate if you have any proposal to find the problem?

    Your understanding is correct.  However, I believe I have seen this not work as expected in two scenarios:

    1.) You have an earlier quality order still open for the same production order / purchase order line / sales order line.  I believe this throws a database error and is "working as expected" per Microsoft.  Resolution is to close the first quality order, then cause the second one to be created. 

    2.) You are generating quality orders against a batch tracked item, and want a new quality order for each batch, and are generating multiple batch numbers off one production order / purchase order line.  I don't believe the user is presented with any error in this instance and I think this is a bug. 

    Do either one of these describe your scenario?
