I am assuming a new role and l need to have understanding of the GP for its use in an organization. I have never use it before and any resources to study and get familiar with the software will be greatly appreciated.

In order to have an overall look on the System, its features, capabilities and overall processes , I would recommend a book that has summarized the value of the system in a brief and comprehensive way, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Cookbook by Mark Polino.
