Hello 

I am trying to use the web client in my localhost.When I am trying to login the page I am not able to sign in.

The username and password is the same which I use to open the RTC.

I have been trying to configure the web.config file.

While saving the web.config page I am getting the error message saying access is denied.

How do I do this?

    Hi,

    Could you copy the file to some other location (where you have rights) and modify and copy it back to the old location and replace the old file.?

    I followed your instructions.But now I am getting the error message as

    "The specified user name or password is not correct, or you do not have a valid user account in Microsoft Dynamics NAV."

    Hi,

    Please check whether your instance is correct and have you configured the respective user in NAV -> Users.

    Are you able to open Windows client?

    Yes,I am able to open the windows client.

    But I am still getting the same error in web client

    Hi Mahesh

    I have reinstalled the NAV 2016 but I am getting the error  in line number  10 of web.config file which is present in  C:\inetpub\wwwroot\dynamicsnav90\webclient\web.config directory.
