Make Purchase Order from Sales Order using Copy Document

Hello!

I have Sales Orders with Sales Lines. By going to /Prepare/ and pressing Copy Document, I can copy the lines to a new Sales Order, and the same for Purchase Orders, I can copy a Purchase Order into a new Purchase Order.

Is there any possibility to add Sales Orders to the Purchase Order options shown in the picture below, and vice versa?

In the case above, can I add Purchase Order as an option?

The reason I want to do this, and why I can't use Actions > Functions > Create Purchase Document > Create Purchase Orders, is that I want to be able to manually set the number of the Purchase Order manually, which I can't do when creating them this way.

If that is not possible, is there any way I can create a Purchase Order from a Sales Order, and still be able to manually set the number of it?
I have the same question (0)

I do not think this is possible with the out-of-the-box functionality.  What is the business case for manually setting the PO number?

You could write an Extension to allow this, but you could also renumber the PO once it is created.

Hi, This has standard functionality. You can just use Special Orders. Unlike Drop Shipments, this function can modify the quantity on the Purchase Order.
    For example,
    Change Quantity:

PS: if the line content is fixed each time, how about using Recurring Sales Lines and Recurring Purchase Lines?

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
