Mobile App - Device Information not submitted to conditional access

Hello everyone, 
 
we're testing the BC App on mobile phones. I noticed that when users authenticate, there is no device information sent with the request. Our conditional access policies blocked the auth requests, because we set them up to do this on mobile devices when device information is missing.
 
We've been in touch with Microsoft for two weeks, but the agents we're talking to don't seem to know whether the app is able to send device information. I have the impression that they think it should work, but they can't figure out why it's not working. 
 
Have you experienced similar issues? If we can't restrict access to BC to known devices, I'm afraid we'll have to block the app.

    Hi Rising Sun - The Business central app is generally available for public download from Appstore/Playstore. Its like any other app which you can download and has no restriction whatsoever. The BC mobile app: Is not Intune-enlightened (unlike Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). It does not do brokered authentication via Microsoft Authenticator, meaning no device state claims. Conditional Access cannot evaluate device compliance

    I have tried this earlier with no luck. Better to take an internal decision and proceed accordingly. Microsoft support was unable to solve this for me back then, had to close the support ticket
