    Hello James,

    Sorry for the delay.

Would you mind opening a non-chargeable support case to report these issues?

    Thank you in advance.

The problem is that you have to scroll through a long list of cashiers that no longer work there.  The names come up in no particular order so changing their employee number or adding zz to the front of their name does nothing like it does in other reports and features

    Hello James,

Thank you for the follow up.

In regards to sending messages are you seeing issues if you include inactive cashiers when sending?

Also, if you have not already done so please enter a Product Suggestion around inactive cashier issues:

yes, but not from messaging, and not from time clock or anywhere else they show up. In time clock I use a workaround of adding two ZZs to the beginning of their names so they drop to the bottom of the list.

In messages it is a major pain. Cashiers come up in no explainable order. If I need to send a message to all of my employees it's a major pain wading through the dozens of ex employees making sure I've got all of the current ones selected.

    Hi James,

You can filter the Cashiers list to Show All, Inactive or Active cashiers. Filtering by Active cashiers removes the Inactive cashiers from the list.

I was very excited by the inactive cashier feature and was one of the main reasons I upgraded to FP2. I was quite dismayed to find out that this feature basically does absolutely nothing other than preventing cashiers from logging in. I still have to scroll through a long list of ex-employees. Thanks for nothing MS.

Couldn't you have made inactive cashiers disappear from features like messaging?
