We have a suspended batch on screen Void Checks (Dynamics SL 7 SP3)

The event log states:

"

Module: 'AP'

Batch: '072387'

Procesando: Module: 'AP' , Batch: '072387'
An unexpected error has occurred while releasing batch  '072387' .  Please contact Microsoft Support for assistance with this batch.  Release has been cancelled.

System Message 6125: Proceso terminado: Wed Oct 01 06:49 P.M."

I did run the apdebug for this batch and got the following diagnostic

"Batch Diagnostics

UnKnown Error."

I did check the batch, apdoc, aptran and apadjust tables for this batch and nothings looks wrong.

Anybody knows how to solve this problema?

    Hello everybody

The problema with this batch was that the adjamt field on the apadjust table for the original was zero instead of the check amount.

Thank you Elaine for your information.

    Hi Rick

I did check the accounts (bank account, vendor account, and also all the account that where affected on the original voucher that was paid by the check) and all of them are active I also checked the subaccounts and all of them are also active. One question, If one of the accounts or subaccounts are inactive at the time of releasing the batch wouldn’t go to the GLSuspense Account, rather that suspend the batch?

I also checked the gltran table and there are no records created for the batch suspended.

    Any other ideas?

    Miguel,

One possibility is that one of the GL accounts used in APTran could be an inactive account (meaning it was active when the batch was entered but made inactive before releasing the batch).

You should look to see if the GLTran records have been created for this batch or not which will tell us how far into the process the release got.
