Open Maintenance schedule lines in Asset Management

When I run the maintenance schedule the planned start date is calculated correct. However, the start time defaults to 12:00:00 AM. How can I set the start time to show the start of the business day e.g., 08:00 AM.

I tried changing the start time on the work order service level, but no success.

I have received this feedback after reaching out to the Dynaway team:

"Maintenance Schedule lines are always created at midnight in the time zone of the user creating the schedule lines or midnight in legal entity time zone."

Thank you for your feedback and attempts to find a solution Charlotte.

Right now I have recommended to my client that we will manually review and edit the default expected start time.

I will keep you posted if there are any alternatives.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

I checked the official documentation and found no way to modify the default expected start time.

Based on the maintenance plan lines in the trial environment, I think this is most likely related to the reference type.

But unfortunately, I haven't found a way to modify it yet.

At the moment you can only adjust the expected start time manually through the method I gave earlier.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. We will use the Adjust function going forward, but I am still curious how we can get the default start time to align to start of business e.g. 8:00 AM. There must be some calendar it uses to default to the 12:00:00 AM highlighted in my screen capture. I tried adjusting the calendar on Asset Management parameters, but it did not work.

    Hi KGun,

Select the maintenance schedule lines that you want to change, click Adjust schedule, then you can change expected start and end dates related to the selected maintenance schedule lines.
