How to upload financial dimension of movement journal in through x++ code.

Hi,

I need to upload the financial dimension of movement journal in ax2012 while uploading records from excel file. I've a scenario where excel while contains the department,branch,business unit values. So while uploading other data from excel for movement journal i also need to upload the financial dimension values as well.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

Hi Zohan,

Here are some examples for you to look at:

The field is called InventJournalTrans.DefaultDimension that you need to set. read data from excel, create a dimension out of those, get the recId and then assign that RecId to inventJournalTrans.DefaultDimension.
