Hello awesome community!!

I want to make a Power BI report for retail sales, but couldn't find an entity with the values of "RetailTransactionSalesTrans" table.

Which entity has thr values? Or should I create a custom entity?

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

You can use entity "RetailTransactionSalesLineEntity", please let me know does this solve your issue or not?

Hello Steven! Thank you for your time to help.

I checked the data entity you mentioned but unfortunately it was empty while the "retail sales" form does actually show records.

Here is the screenshot of the entity on the power bi navigator:

And here is a screenshot the shows the "Retail Sales" form with records:

BTW : The transactions are not posted yet! these transactions are open!

Do open transactions get saved in other data entities?

    Thanks again!

If the standard data entity don't include the open transaction, suggest you do customization for it.

Or you can just use excel add in to get it from the UI, like this:

    Hi Steven,

I don't see any "Range" in the data entity though that says no to open transactions...

What should I do to make it show open transactions?

For the excel workaround, I want the users to update the values using the update button in power bi directly and not export the excel sheet every time.
