Journal Adj. not working for Item with incorrect lot number

An Item was produced and assigned a lot number that was copied and pasted from excel. This seems to have added erroneous space characters to the end of the number. When trying to JA out the lot I'm given an insufficient quantity error. I've tried selecting the lot through the item tracking lines and entering in the lot number manually by copying and pasting the same value from Excel. Any thoughts?

    What exactly error you are facing? Try coping not from Excel but from the created lot number in NAV itself.

    Also, if you have access to development environment, you can manually correct the lot number by eliminating incorrect space characters in relevant tables.

    "Quantity (Base) Available must not be less than 200 Bin Content.. etc."  

    The Item Tracking Line for this lot is showing a quantity of 200.

    I don't have that access unfortunately

    You need to arrange to get this rectified via your System Admin or Partner consultant. You would require to remove the unwanted spaces from Lot No. field from Item Ledger Entry & Warehouse Entry Table.
