DIXF / DIEF Vendor Master Import - Default Address

hi

I have just run a full import of vendor master information using DIEF/DIXF, and AX has automatically created a default primary vendor address in the Addresses fasttab using the Name of the vendor as the address 'name or description', and the country as the 'Address'..?

Any ideas why this has happened?

When I create a vendor manually, it does not give the same result..

    It depends how you did the mapping of the source file and which fields were provided. Can you provide more details please?

    I am going to try replicate the problem with some test data, and when I can, I will submit my import files as well..

    Hi Andre

    The strangest thing is happening. If I import a vendor (not vendor address) the vendor imports correctly, without an address.. The I wait 2 minutes, and open the vendor again, the system automatically creates the vendor addresss, with the vendor Name as the address 'Name or Description', the country as the address 'Address' ('Purpose'=Business and 'Primary'=Yes).

    What I'm trying to do, to workaround this, is import the addresses before the 2 minutes are up..

    We are on 2012 R3 CU11..
