Standard Chart of Accounts

Hello all,

I am trying to set up a Chart of Accounts for our company and instead of inventing the chart myself and manually implementing the chart line by line, I was wondering if there are any STANDARD Chart of Accounts per industry. Like one for a fintech company where I work for!

And then my next question would be: how can I import that standard chart of accounts into NAV '18?

Kind Regards and thanks in advance,

Frits

You can import the accounts from the demo database. Export the accounts from the Cronus and Import them.

    Thank you. Still two questions:

    1. Are there anymore charts than only the one from Crunos? For example a standard one for a manufacturing company, a standard chart for a fintech company etc.

    2. How do I import them? I can not find this functionality

There are no specific ones based on the industry, you just need modify according to your business. You can use Rapid Start Services to import/export.

Search for rapid start and you will find several examples how to perform import/export.

    Hi Frits B,
Chart of Accounts are usually specific to a Company. You can try Exporting and Importing from Cronus Database using Configuration Package.

    1. In Cronus Database, Add the table 15 G/L Accounts and Export to Excel.

    2. In your Database Import the same from Excel and then Apply Data.

Also Mr. Frits after you export chart of accounts from Cronus database in Excel you can easily modify/delete/create  it in Excel and then import it from Excel and apply.

Just one small supplement to the Olistar solution.

    Br,

    Renato.
